NOTES ON FRAMEBUILDING

 MY FRAME SPECIFICATION NOTE-BOOK

 by James Morikawa

Below is my notebooks of customers' frame specifications.  Nothing fancy,  just a note book of collected data from each customer.
I don't require full size drawings,  or any drawings to construct a frame — just the specs.

customer note book

Some of the specs I'll need to build a frame:

Tube Set
Head-tube Angle
Seat-tube Angle
Virtual Top-tube Length
Bottom-bracket Drop
Staystay length
The type of dropouts,
The color scheme

Usually takes time communicating to the customer to obtain and confirm  frame specs.  I allow the customers all the time they need to conclude things.  I never rush it.   Establishing good communication and finding out what's needed and wanted by the customer is the first step.

That's it for this page.  Have a great day.
