TOP TUBE CABLE STOPS

Setting up, and positioning the forward top-tube-cable-stop for brazing.  A length of angle aluminum has been clamped to the top-tube.  The frame is positioned so that the cable-stop sits along the edge of the aluminum.  The "braze-on-thingamajiggy", which works on gravity, is balanced on the cable stop to add weight.  This added weight,  along with the angle aluminum holds the cable-stop in position during brazing.

Below,  the top tube cable stops have been brazed into placed

DOWN TUBE SHIFTER BOSSES

Just a couple of pictures on the down-tube-shifter-bosses in the brazing process.  The frame is repositioned to braze-on the other boss.   An automotive hose clamp is used to aid alignment. Anyway the second picture is the pair of bosses after brazing.
