I will briefly write about "Mitering and Fitting the Seatstays".
Above is the mitered and fitted seatstays in the frame jig; not yet brazed.
In the above I've putting "S" bends into the seatstays. Same process, and tools as for bending the chainstays.
I obtain the mitering angles, and lengths for the mitering process:
I use a fixture for mitering the seatstays. The main beam on the beltmiter has a channel which the fixture slides in. The seatstays are mounted, and angles set on the fixture.
I proceed on to the actual mitering. The tube, or stays mounted on the fixture is hand lead into the spinning abrasive belt.
